The following side effects may occur in the use of Terfameks capsules, but not everyone experiences these side effects:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Numbness, burning or tingling in the feet, hands, face, or mouth
- Decreased sensation in the touched area
- Difficulty thinking, concentrating, paying attention, speaking, or remembering
- Excessive tiredness
- Dry mouth
- Unusual thirst
- Difficulty in tasting
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Painful burning sensation in the chest
- Painful menstrual periods
- Pain in the neck, back, muscles, arms or legs
- Tightening of the muscles
- Difficult, painful, or frequent urination
- Hair loss

- The sudden decrease in vision
- Eye redness or pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe pain in the body
- Blood in the urine
- Blisters and rashes accompanying fever
- Hives
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you take the drug’s active ingredient, phentermine, during pregnancy, your baby could develop a birth defect called cleft lip or cleft palate.
Therefore, this drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
In addition, unfortunately, not much research has been done on pregnant women with phentermine, the active ingredient of the drug.
If you are breastfeeding, contact your doctor before using this medicine.
You may need to use birth control to prevent pregnancy during your treatment.
